Nearly all Events and Causes need a Sponsor
Whether you’re organizing a one-time event, a recurring event, or promoting recognition for a wonderful cause, the one thing that is common among all of them is that you need money to make it happen. One of the best sources of funds is through sponsorships. Sponsors love sponsoring events and causes because it gives their products and company great exposure to their target markets that they can’t get any other way.
What type of Sponsorships can we help with?
Depending on the type of event or cause that you’re promoting, you need lots of different types of help. Sponsors can help in a wide variety of ways. Here are some of the most popular types of sponsorships we deal with.
- Financial Sponsors – These are sponsors who provide cash in one form or another.
- Product Placement – These sponsors will pay you to promote their products. That “promotion” can be as simple as having the product placed in some prominent location at the event, or as a trade for some type of active promotion. You get to work that out with the sponsor.
- Brand Ambassadors – Companies will pay you to allow them to have people at your event to pass out and promote their products. An example of this is someone who hands out refreshing drinks at no cost at an outdoor summer event.
- Media Sponsors – Many events are newsworthy. Because of this, many media outlets will gladly promote your event at no cost by writing an article, or even by providing on-site coverage. This can be beneficial to both the organizers and those who sponsor the events and get additional exposure.
- In-Kind Sponsors – These sponsors provide value in the form of a product or service. An example of an in-kind sponsor is a caterer who provides their food and beverages at no cost to the event organizer for the ability to promote their catering service in some way at the event.
How does SponsorMatch work?
Under normal circumstances, the process of finding sponsors can be both challenging and frustrating. However, Shindio has gone to great lengths to make that process much easier. The steps are pretty simple:
- Create a Shindio account
- Once your account is approved, you can add your event details.
- We match you with prospective sponsors.
- You accept the ones you want to work with.
- You get the sponsor funds you need.
Using our secret sauce, (a.k.a. behind-the-scenes magic), we match events, clubs, and causes with sponsors with a high degree of accuracy. That takes a significant amount of pressure off you as the organizer.
So now we have to ask, what will you do with all of your free time now that you’re not spending it searching for sponsors?
